Finance & Investment

Stewarding resources wisely, for lasting impact

About this department

We're not investment experts. We're young people learning, alongside our community, how to manage very little wisely. Right now this looks like simple financial education: budgeting, saving, and basic entrepreneurship awareness. In the future, we hope to support savings groups, income-generating activities, and connections to markets and opportunities, but for now, we're learning together.

Who We Serve

Individuals and families in our community seeking practical financial skills, as well as STAC's own programs through sound financial stewardship.

What we are aiming for

To help people develop practical skills, make wiser financial decisions, and move toward greater self-reliance, one step at a time.

Where this stands: Started, small scale

One part of this is running at a small scale. The rest is still to come.

What we do and what we plan

  • Financial literacy and responsible money management
  • Budgeting, saving, and financial planning education
  • Entrepreneurship and small-business awareness
  • Future savings and self-reliance groups
  • Future income-generating and livelihood projects

How you can help

To keep going and to grow this work, we need:

  • Volunteers with money-management or small-business experience to teach
  • Printed training materials
  • Partners who could later help start savings groups
