Terms of Use

This website is run by Spiritual Transformation of African Christians ("STAC", "we"), a Christian group registered in Uganda in 2024 and based in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement, Kikuube District. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. Our Privacy Policy and Donation Policy are part of these terms.

Using the site

Please use the site honestly and with respect. You agree not to:

• give false information in a form, or pretend to be someone else;
• send spam, abusive or unlawful messages through our forms;
• try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or to disrupt the site;
• use automated tools to collect information from the site or to submit forms in bulk.

Volunteer accounts

You need an account to ask for a role at an event. Keep your password private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Asking for a role does not guarantee you one, and we may decline a request. Volunteering with STAC is voluntary. A confirmed role is not a job and does not create an employment relationship.

Giving

Gifts are voluntary. A pledge made through the pledge form is not a payment, and no money moves until you arrange it with us. Online payments are handled by Pesapal and are also subject to Pesapal's own terms. If you think a payment was made in error, contact us with your reference number and we will look into it. See the Donation Policy for details.

Plans are not promises

Parts of this site describe departments and activities that are planned but have not started. They are our intentions, not commitments, and they depend on people, materials and funding we do not yet have. We label each department as active, started or planned so you can see which is which.

Content and photos

The text and photos on this site belong to STAC or are used with permission. Our photos show real people in our community. Please do not copy, republish or alter them without asking us first. You may link to any page.

No guarantees

We share information on this site in good faith and try to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise that it is always complete or error-free, or that the site will always be available. To the extent the law allows, STAC is not liable for loss that comes from using the site or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may change these terms and will update the date above when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda.
